Donuts: a perfect morning (or anytime, really) treat! A few of Yosha Snyder Group’s favorite donut spots in Indianapolis and surrounding areas.

1. Long’s Bakery

Indy natives may remember running to stand in line on Saturday morning as a child. Serving since 1955, Long’s has become an iconic Indianapolis institution. Lines wrap around the block to grab freshly baked donuts and other baked goods. Long’s sticks true to their roots: cash-only, and when they’re out, they close up for the day!

We recommend: Glazed, Blueberry, and Pumpkin (seasonal).

2. Taylor’s Bakery

Another classic Indy bakery with two locations: 62nd and Allison + Fishers. Known for more than just donuts, Taylor’s also specializes in cakes, cookies, cupcakes, bread, donuts (duh), and MORE. My family has enjoyed Taylor’s custom cakes for decades. Especially my dad’s favorite: white cake with chocolate icing.

We recommend: Donut Holes, Custom Cakes, and Angel Food Cake.

PS Their Donut Holes are consistently rated as the best in Indianapolis!

3. General American Donut Company

Baked fresh daily and oh-so-yummy! You’ll find a few different flavors here that are definitely worth trying! Pair your donut with a cup of Stumptown Espresso.

We recommend: PB&J and Coffee & Cream.

4. The Donut Shop

One of the best breakfast spots in Indianapolis known for… you guessed it… donuts! At The Donut Shop, you’ll get a great bang for your buck and your tummy will be satisfied!

We recommend: Bacon Maple Crumble and Classic Glazed.

5. Jack’s Donuts

An official partner of the Pacers, Jack’s Donuts has multiple locations in Indianapolis and surrounding areas. Grab some Jack’s Java to go with your donut!

We recommend: Tiger Tail, Chocolate Nut, and Applesauce.
